* grad school application
* lots of homework.. yay for neuro and speech science
* running
* playing basketball at the huff
* training for a part of a marathon...
* feeling like a REAL college student... broke
* knowing that football season is only 8 months away
* better yet... knowing that graduation is less than 5 months away..
* wanting a puppy
* hopeing I become magically rich
* wanting to eat some lucky charms
* starting to read the Bible.. cover to cover :)
* thinkin alot about grad school
* sleeping less.. (sometimes)
* enjoying hte last semester as an undergrad... does that mean the fun stops??
* eating lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwich's
* being me....

because I am a college student... my blogging has taken a big hit... that being I haven't updated in about 8.4 years... YIKES... I am so so glad that school is done for the semester.. .my grades were pretty good... I wish I would have gotten all A's.. .but I ALMOST got that so I guess I will have to count almost as good for this semester!! I am so blessed... I get to spend Christmas with my family and THEN I get to go to Miami for the college football national championship.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could NOT be more excited :) my parents are paying my way because they ARE SO awesome.. and I think I might be WAY to spoiled but God has blessed me with AMAZING parents!!!! I am about to go with my mom or my dad to watch the OKC thunder... so I will have to write more at a futher date... BOOMER SOONER ya'll!!!!

Its just a good ol' normal monday for me.. crazy busy and extra stressful thinking about ALL of the things that are coming up in the next couple of weeks... tests, homework, and the GRE...
Not cool.. sometimes I wish I would be less determined and I could settle for not going to college and working at mcdonalds.. YUCK!!! Maybe chick-fila is a better option?? lol.. jk Lets see my sooners are ranked 4th in the nation.. 7-1... and still on the road for another national championship (ok I know you are thinking that loss will haunt us forever.. but I good fan has ALL the faith in the world for her team.. regardless)... BOOMER SOONER forever!!!
ok.. so I have reached it.. writers block.. I have nothing interesting to say... God is real good.. but who doesn't already know that?? and if they don't I want to meet them and show what God has done for me!!! ....

O so ready for OU texas...

I have been counting down to this weekend for a year now... the OU vs Texas football game!!! Its so much fun to go to down and experience the great pride that each university has in themselves.. of course the sooners are the BETTER choice!!! The best part of the fair (not counting the sooner victory) is the corn dogs... WOW they are the best thing on earth.. I think its God's way of letting me glimpse into what food will taste like in heaven :) I am very excited for the game and will totally be posting a response to the game asap afterwards...

this past weekend I went to stillwater to hang out with many of my friends and to watch the high school cross country meet hosted by OSU... did I mention that all that icky orange makes me sick?? well it does... anyways.. it was a great weekend and my girls ran so good... I can't wait to see them run again!!! that evening I went to watch the cowboys play the a & m aggies... I felt so out of place with all the crazy waving of the wheat and orange power.. I didn't cheer for either team because until after november 8 for a & m and nov 29 for the cowboys.. they are the enemy... I wore my sooner bracelet with pride and many people in the donor section at the OSU game looked at me in disgust.. but I flashed it around like a girl does upon engagement!!! I know that they are proud of their school but BOY did it make me proud of mine and the tradition that we have... I just love the sooners and could not imagine being ANYWHERE else... ok.. I am rambling on and my teacher is starting class back up again... but before I go I want to share my favorite part of the weekend... My brother, his gf (Sarah), and I went to LIFE church together on sunday morning.. it was such a good message.. the pastor talked about the good samaritan (did I tell you I can't spell???) and how he took care of a person he didn't even know and was willing to make the sacrifice both with his money and with his time.. HOW awesome!!! the pastor also said that just thinking about caring about someone and NOT acting is the SAME as not caring for them at all... It very much hit home... I am constantly seeing someone and thinking to myself that they could probably use help or just need a friend but I just keep going on with my NORMAL life. It made me what to reach out to those in need.. those that have needs greater than I.. God sure knows how to touch my heart.. WOW!!!!

how knew God cared about parking tickets??

So being the procastinator that I am... I waited until today to buy my parking permit for school.. I should have bought one in august but 200 dollars is alot on top of purchasing books and all the new school supplies so I waited.. anyways.. ON tuesday I got a ticket because my parking permit was NOT up to date.... 25 dollars out the window so my decision was quickly made to make today the day to shell out the 200 bucks... I payed the woman for my permit and she reminded me of the "outstanding" ticket I had just received.. I am thinking to myself O great how can I pay for a ticket that I don't have the money for... ONE more thing to ask mom and dad to pay for when they are already giving me so much... and YOU know what GOD did?? well.. the woman was like... "I will just take that ticket off... your pass likes a little blurry anyway".. and winked at me...

MAN I am head over heals in love with the God that can even make parking tickets disappear!!!!

the college football polls came out and amazingly enough my sooners are number one!! I am excited beyone belief BUT i do know that our boys in crimson still have some rough games ahead... I still have faith in them though! my weekend was amazing.. The sooner win over TCU was no shock but still o so sweet!!! my favorite part of the weekend was going home and going to the Thomas cross country meet with my mom. It was so great to get to hang out with her. It was also amazing to get to see the young girls I have watch grow up run! I got to see my little cousin Taylor run in the junior high race. My favorite part was watching Baleigh and her lady terriers win the meet. Baleigh did SO amazing and I can't wait to watch her improve... that girl is VERY special to me.. I am still so sad that her dad (my coach) moved before my senior season. Anyways... I am glad to see that dana has joined the blog world... its a great place and I am glad I have a place to write everything down.. :)

I have a prayer request... Tomorrow my best bud katie and I are going to the hospital to visist our favorite girl morgan.. morgan is an 8 year old girl in the maintainance stage of chemotherapy.. she is having a spinal tap and it can be very painful for her.. please ask for strength and protection as well as God's continued healing!!!

I am starting a new book called Bible Babes.... It was like 2 dollars so I thought I would try it out and if it was cool I would suggest it to the teacher at the Big O (Omega Baptist Church) maybe possible teach from it once a month?? anyways today I read about eve and how she was so in awe of the beauty that God has created.. the stars, the flowers, etc... That is totally where I am at right now.. .God is SO awe inspiring and I just don't know He can be so good but there's people/things in the world that are totally against what He represents.. As I was reading I am thinking to myself about the BAD things that I know are occuring in the world around me.. things that don't see fair... things that I want to scream at the top of my lungs WHY GOD why?? and you know what.. everytime He answers me... he tells me that everything will be fine and that HE has a perfect plan... and also everytime I tell myself my life sucks and nothing goes right.. God throws in a 97% score on a test I didn't really study for...

so God places me in awe... (AND I think God has a little something to do with that number one ranking!!!)

Oregon state defeated the #1 USC trojans!!! That makes my boys in the crimson and cream number ONE!!! Life is good!! School is great!! Isn't God good?? I really believe that God has something really special planned for my this year.. and for my oklahoma sooners!! :) Boomer Sooner.. I am off to pack for going home to see my mom and of COURSE the dog Champ!! Everyone please be in prayer of my Daddy, he is traveling to Canada and will be there for over a week!!!

ok... so I caved.. I entered the world of bloggers.. I never thought I would be a person to randomly get online and write about my day... or my thoughts.. but here I sit. I thought I would think of something interesting but having a test tomorrow and being creative doesn't mesh well! Monday nights and Tuesday nights are my favorite nights lately. On monday, my roommate and best friend, Jenny 's friends from Italy come over and we have a HUGE GossipGirl watch party. That show is so good... twisted.. but I can't miss an episode. Tuesday is a good day as well. I don't have class and just kind of have the day to myself. Today I went to the city and volunteered at a pre-school for children that are language delayed. It was so neat to get to work with such precious kiddos.. they were all very sweet!!!! Tuesday night is the BEST though. I have the house to myself (not that I don't love having my roommate around because life without her is like life with ice cream or dr.pepper... meaning NOT good) and I just watch the NEW 90210... I am so addicted to that show and could just sit and watch to all day everyday... (I will own the DVD series someday). I am blessed though.. my house is amazing and my roommate is the BEST friend I could ever have... she is upstairs studying away.. don't worry you'll get to read to stuff she writes someday in the future. Ok... well I better get to that amazing place of my nice comfy bed and watch me some Fresh Prince... Hope all is well for you....
